10th September 2006![]() The Lincolnshire Wolds Railway in Ludborough is a section of restored track which made up part of the old line which connected Grimsby to London via Louth, Boston and Peterborough. The steam locomotive does not yet reach North Thoresby, and funds are being raised by the Grimsby Louth Railway Preservation Society to reach this objective. ![]() ![]() Battles took place on the railway track, with spectators looking on and cheering from the platform. The action was noisy, with smoke grenades and blank shots adding to the authentic atmosphere. It was an exciting show that all the family could appreciate.
