The Empowerment Sculpture in Lincoln
Lincoln, the capital city of Lincolnshire, has been settled since Roman times. The river Witham runs through it. Pictured on the left is the Empowerment Sculpture that is situated over the river near to the Waterside Shopping Centre.

Some of the most prominent tourist attractions in Lincoln are the castle and cathedral, which are conveniently situated just next to each other at the north end of the town centre. But these are by no means all there is to see in Lincoln. There are art galleries and museums such as The Collection and The Museum of Lincolnshire Life, and you can also take boat trips along the river from Brayford Waterfront.
